Senior Research Associate in Environment Based Management of Marine Resources at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). Joined KISR in 1988 and has experience in coastal management, marine ecology, and marine recourses.
Leading several research projects includes survey targeting macroalgae in entire Kuwaiti waters, assessment of marinas in Kuwait bay as an artificial habitat, and documentation of shrimp fishery of Kuwait.
Carrying out several investigation on marine crisis includes fish kill, pearl oyster kill accident, and foam formation in coastline.
Participated in many research projects related to shrimp fisheries and the effects of Shatt Al Arab on the Arabian Gulf.
